Educational Qualification:
Applicants should possess the following or its equivalent qualification awarded by any University or Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission:
(i) Should hold a Diploma in Physical Education from any recognized university or institution. Alternatively, (OR) should possess a Teacher’s Certificate in Physical Education (Higher Grade) along with a minimum of one year of teaching experience. In addition, (ii) candidates must have met the eligibility requirements for admission to the College course of Study under the old 11-year schooling or to the Higher Secondary Course under the present 10-year schooling, as outlined in G.O.(Ms.)No.260, Employment Service Department, dated 17.12.1985.
- The Diploma qualification prescribed for this post should have been obtained by passing S.S.L.C/H.S.C or its equivalent from the recognized Institutions as required under Section 25 of the Tamil Nadu Government Servants (Conditions of Service) Act, 2016. (Results of the Examination should have been declared on or before the date of Notification).
- Experience should have been obtained after passing the prescribed Educational Qualification.
- Candidates with higher qualifications in the relevant field without the prescribed qualification, i.e., Diploma in Physical Education, are eligible to apply for direct recruitment to this post.
- Candidates who assert equivalence of qualifications must provide supporting evidence in the form of Government Order Form 5 issued on or before this Notification date. Failure to do so will result in the summary rejection of their application.
