Educational Qualification:

  1. Principal, ITI/ AD of Training:
    • A degree in any branch of Engineering or Technology from a recognized University or institution under the purview of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
    • Practical experience in a workshop or factory for at least three years.
    Note: Preference is given to those who have completed one year of Apprenticeship under the Government of India Scheme or one year of training under the State Government Apprenticeship scheme.
  2. Assistant Engineer (Civil) (Water Resources Department, PWD):
    • Must possess a B.E. degree in Civil Engineering or Civil and Structural Engineering.
    • OR
    • Must have passed Sections A and B of the Institution Examinations under the Civil Engineering branch.
  3. Assistant Engineer (Civil) (PWD):
    • Must possess a B.E. degree in Civil Engineering or Civil and Structural Engineering.

  • No Maximum age limit for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Castes (Arunthathiyars), Scheduled Tribes, Most Backward Classes, Denotified Communities, Backward Classes (OBCMs), Backward Classes (Muslims), and Destitute Widows of all categories for posts from Sl.No.1 to 19 except Sl.No.8, 10, 11, and 12.
  • Maximum Age Limit for the post in Sl.No.8: 37 years

Note: Maximum Age Limit has been increased from 30 to 32 years. Maximum Age Limit for the post in Sl.No.8 has been increased from 35 to 37 years.
