Educational Qualification:

- OCTT-Metallurgy: Matriculation with a 3-year (full time) Diploma in Metallurgy Engineering from a recognized university/institute.
- OCTT-Electrical: Matriculation with a 3-year (full time) Diploma in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics Engineering from a recognized university/institute.
- OCTT-Mechanical: Matriculation with a 3-year (full time) Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university/institute.
- OCTT-Instrumentation: Matriculation with a 3-year (full time) Diploma in Instrumentation/Instrumentation & Electronics/Instrumentation & Control/Instrumentation & Automation Engineering from a recognized university/institute.
- OCTT-Civil: Matriculation with a 3-year (full time) Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized university/institute.

SAIL Recruitment 2024 Age Limit
The age limit for all posts ranges from 18 to 28 years, with relaxation provided as per government rules.
SAIL Recruitment 2024 Salary Details
Candidates selected for the above posts will undergo on-the-job training for 2 years, with a consolidated pay of Rs.16,100/- for the 1st year and Rs.18,300/- for the 2nd year. Upon regularization, candidates will be placed in S-3 grade with a scale of pay of Rs.26,600-3%-38,920/- along with other benefits.

The selection process consists of:
- Computer Based Test (CBT)
- Skill Test
The date, time, and test venue for the Computer Based Test (CBT)/Skill Test will be intimated to eligible candidates through Admit Card/Call Letter and shared through email/SMS and the SAIL website.
